The Challenge of Manufacturing

Our roots go back to a small sheet-metal factory in the 1960s that supplied processed iron to major manufacturers as a subcontractor. There wasn't an abundance of things at that time, but we constantly worked to improve our techniques and took on the challenge of making things people would find useful. Once we had acquired enough skill to process iron, we set out to create our own products.

Realizing the Importance of Materials

Iron is an important material in manufacturing, but it is cold and inorganic, with a limited ability to warm people's hearts. Through direct contact and long use, we realized that materials such as wood, resin, and other metals were also essential. It is often said that people feel a sense of security from the warmth of wood.

Cooperation with Specialized Factories

Although it became possible to use a variety of materials, we could not produce them all in a single factory. Factories that specialize in a certain material have the knowledge and skills for it, and they keep advancing their techniques while using their know-how to make products and parts.
